Information

great location for:

A remote and desolate place, Tierra del Fuego is the most southerly land mass in the Americas. Conditions can be harsh; trees often bend over backwards from the ferocity of the winter winds. The Andes Mountains rise here, forming the backbone of the continent and an unbroken chain that runs north for thousands of miles.

Wonderfully sited, the maritime town Ushuaia is the world’s most southerly major settlement. The nearby Tierra del Fuego National Park has bleak, yet stunningly beautiful scenery. Guanacos, Black-browed Albatross and Magellanic Penguins make this often inhospitable land their home.
