Hacienda Hato Verde is a family-run working farm in a peaceful setting on the south face of Cotopaxi with great views and its own private entrance to the volcano, so guests can explore the area on foot, by private vehicle or on horseback, away from the crowds. Accommodation is in 10 spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom and fireplace.

La Cienega
One of Ecuador’s most famous haciendas, this enchanting 400-year old hacienda is on the slopes of Cotopaxi and has hosted many of Ecuador’s former presidents as well as Alexander von Humboldt, founder of modern geography. There is a restaurant whose window-lined walls look out onto the lovely garden courtyard beyond.
Hacienda San Agustín de Callo
Located at the foot of the snow-capped Cotopaxi Volcano, Hacienda San Agustín is a beautiful colonial farmhouse, built into the site of an important Inca Palace. There are 5 rooms with private facilities, a dining room, sitting room and chapel.
