Cara Lodge was built in the 1840s and over the years has hosted many dignitaries including Edward VII. In recent years the home has become a unique hotel with the comfort and services of a modern hotel. All rooms reflect the traditional building style of Guyana with traditional Demerara Shutters and polished wooden floors.
