Information

great location for:

The Magallanes region of Southern Chile has some of the most magnificent mountain and glacial scenery to be found anywhere in the world. The jagged snow-capped Andes are a profusion of colour, condors can be seen circling overhead, the air is pure and there is an incredible sense of freedom and space.

Punta Arenas is Chile’s most southerly city where a number of fine mansion houses remain and where Magellanic Penguins can be found in the burrows at the nearby Seno Otway Reserve. Further north, Puerto Natales is a pleasant town and can be used as a base to visit the breathtaking Torres del Paine National Park.
