Information

Four hours east of Cartagena, Tayrona Park is a tropical paradise of palm fringed beaches and golden sand set against a spectacular backdrop of lush green rainforest and the world’s highest coastal mountain range. Numerous paths link the bays and beaches, you can walk jungle trails looking for local wildlife, or simply lie back in a hammock and relax.

The sea can be quite choppy in parts but there are several lovely swimming spots where you can cool down from the tropical heat. Most of the park is pristine tropical forest and home to a wealth of wildlife including over 100 species of mammals and 200 species of birds.
