In the morning, visit the CICAME Ethnographic Museum to get to know and understand the human component of the Ecuadorian Amazon, especially that of the Huaorani culture. In the afternoon, navigate to a new visitor site and admire the surrounding jungle landscape en-route. Enjoy sunset in the Amazon Basin by taking a canoe ride down a jungle stream and then after dinner, there is an optional evening walk inside the forest.

Day 5
Disembark for an up close-and-personal tropical rainforest experience and learn about the relationship between plants and animals. After lunch, navigate to one of the most pristine and little explored sections of Ecuadorian Amazonia, home to the legendary pink river dolphin, black caiman and anaconda. Explore the area by canoe and look out for river turtles and various species of monkeys, as well as the primitive Hoatzin, a one-of-a-kind bird locally known as “the Stinky Turkey”.
Day 6
Today you will visit a school located on the banks of the Napo River, to learn about the educational system of a remote Ecuadorian jungle community. Enjoy time at leisure before a lecture and documentary screening. In the afternoon, explore one of the largest river islands of the Napo River.
Day 7
Today you will visit parrot licks – unique pools of mud which become rich in minerals and attract hundreds of parrots & parakeets. You will also visit a small community arts and crafts shop before visiting Limoncocha Biological Reserve, a fascinating protected area where more than 478 bird species and several monkey species have been recorded. In the evening you will also have a chance to spot black caiman with the help of flashlights.
Day 8
In the morning, disembark the M/V Anakonda and transfer by motorized canoe to Coca (1-hour ride) and meet a flight to Quito.
