great location for:

The world’s longest peninsula stretches over 1000 kilometres from the frontier towns on the US border, through arid desert, rugged coastline, National Park and high peaks down to the exclusive beach resorts at Los Cabos. The peninsula is rightly acknowledged as being the world’s number one whale watching destination.

Between January and March, large numbers of Gray, Minke and Sperm Whales return here to breed. Visible from land, it is a totally different experience when viewed from the side of a boat. Whales will often be seen close to the boat, if you are fortunate you may even see the largest mammal on the planet, the mighty Blue Whale. Dolphins love the food-rich waters as do turtles and both can be seen at different times during the year.
