This 4-day heritage train journey takes you between Guayaquil and Quito (or vice versa) along a breathtaking track across the Ecuadorian Andes. Beautiful reconditioned steam engines pull the four carriages and take you through the transition from moorlands to cloud forest before reaching the coast. Highlights include the ‘Avenue of Volcanoes’ where there are more than 10 volcanoes standing at over 12,000 feet and one of them is active (Tungurahua Volcano at 5023m).
